Ryder Evan Robison was born in Oslo, Norway and traveled the world as a child. He studied Fine Art in Colorado receiving a scholarship to the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design based in Denver, Colorado. He then transferred to the highly acclaimed Art program at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where he received his Bachelor in Fine Art. Now based in New York City, Ryder is an established painter, photographer and illustrator. He also has a deep love of music and songwriting. Formerly a member of the band Vaux, they rose to a level of success as international recording artists, signed with Atlantic records and worked with some very famed producers within the music industry. From touring around the world, to being showcased in different galleries throughout the US, Ryder creates a unique perspective in sensory art. He would like to progress visual and musical art forms with a distinct vision and insight into attainable mediums. He has collaborated works with the likes of high-end fashion designers to tattoo artists. One of Ryder’s strengths lies in his ability to mold his style from one medium to the next all while staying true to his worldly aesthetic.
