Zach Cordner

Zach Cordner is a 28-year-old southern California native whose background in photography stems from documenting skateboarding and local music scenes as a teenager. In college, he freelanced for several newspapers, including the LA Times as well as the Associated Press. At the age of twenty, he turned down an internship at the White House after he was offered the position of photo editor at Transworld Warp magazine. While at Transworld he helped create Stance, a young men’s lifestyle magazine. After three years as photo editor he left to pursue his career as a freelance photographer.

Zach’s ability to combine his experience in photojournalism with his love of environmental portraiture results in unique images that captivate and intrigue the viewer. The diversity within his clientele speaks for how versatile his creativity is. Whether he’s touring around the world with the Vans skateboard team or shooting an iconic portrait of Outkast in Atlanta, Zach’s always prepared to document whoever steps in front of his lens.
